Black Friday 2022, what to expect in South Africa
New year new me for Black Friday in South Africa this time? Nope, just a different spin to it with some retailers offering month-long deals, week or one-day deals even though Black Friday is technically a one-day affair, this year on 25 November 2022. As usual, remember you do not have to purchase anything but if you are inclined to, at least do the following:
Create a list of items you intend on purchasing and set a budget for each.
Price match and have an idea of which retailer will likely offer the best deal.
Sign up for the newsletters for the respective retailers.
Create accounts on the retailers’ online platform and add the items to your wishlist to speed up the checkout process on 25 November.
Be safe, whether online or shopping in-store. if purchasing online, make use of virtual cards. Bonus, don’t forget your loyalty cards which could get you extra discounts.
